FLAN 411 K-12 Theory and Methods of World Languages Teaching Overview of the history, theory, methods, and techniques of world language teaching to prepare students for careers as foreign language teachers in K-12 school settings.

Prerequisites - (FRNH 343L5 , SPNH 343L5 , or GERN 343L5 ) and (FLAN 480 , FRNH 480 , GERN 480 , JPNE 480 , or SPNH 480 , may be taken concurrently) Other Restrictions - Initial Teacher Preparation Program admission is required for enrollment in this course. Restriction by Major - Restriction by Class - Junior standing
Additional Information - Students who do not meet prerequisite requirements may request department permission to enroll in the course. Not counted in the language area of the degree requirements, nor toward a major in any modern language.
