HLED 490 Drug Use and Abuse This course offers a broad overview of drug use. Historical perspectives of current problems, pharmacology of drugs commonly used and abused, physiological and psychological factors related to abuse, substance abuse prevention programs, treatment and drugs and the law are all addressed. Methods include: lecture, small group discussion, and student presentations.
