MUED 330 Music Education in the Elementary School Organization, planning and teaching of elementary music, and examination, evaluation and preparation of materials based on child growth and development principles. Concurrent placement in schools for observation and pre-student teaching experience.

Prerequisites - MUSC 202 , MUED 254 , MUED 326 and Applied Music: AMUS 416A or AMUS 416B status (principal) and AMUS 415A or AMUS 415B status (secondary) Other Restrictions - Initial Teacher Preparation Program admission is required for enrollment in this course. Students on academic probation may not enroll in this course. Restriction by Major - K-12 Music Education - Instrumental [BME] or K-12 Music Education - Vocal [BME] Restriction by Class - Junior standing or above
