PHED 434 Adapted Preschool Physical Education This course presents instructional strategies and curricular models of instruction for preschool-aged children (age three to five) with special needs or who are at-risk for disabilities and school failure. Planning and effecting gross motor activity programs, assessment procedures and activity sequences will be emphasized. Legislative mandates and rationale for the development of preschool motor activity programs will be discussed. Supervised field experience required.
