WRTG 354W Digital Writing [GEWI]

How has technology historically shaped writing practices, and how does technology continue to shape new and evolving writing practices? In this writing intensive course, students study a history of writing practices, how genres are implicated and shaped by digital technologies, and the implications of multimodality in the composing process.

Projects can include literacy narratives; genre analyses of digital texts; multimodal projects (that include text, video, images, and audio); and writing and publishing with digital tools.
