RDNG 250 Middle School Literacy and the Early Adolescent Reader This course has the following purposes: (a) Understanding early adolescent literacy development; (b) Exploring literacy practices associated with middle level disciplines; (c) Applying various instructional strategies to those practices to enhance comprehension, composition, and learning of content; (d) Developing personal understanding of the relationship between literacy and learning across disciplines.
