SWRK 254 The Social Work Profession and Social Service Policies This course is an overview of the development of the social work profession distinguishing features, including social work values and ethics, and the historical development of social welfare policies and programs. In addition, students will learn about social work roles and settings. This course is designed for students who intend to be social work majors. It is not open to students who have already completed SWRK 120 and/or SWRK 222 .
