SPAI 345 Curriculum and Instructional Strategies in Autism Spectrum Disorder This course will be deleted effective Fall 2023 and replaced with SPAI 425 .
Demonstrate knowledge of the range and characteristics of autism spectrum disorders along with knowledge of neurological development in children and adolescents with ASD. Demonstrate knowledge of the impact of sensory processing issues on children and adolescents with autism and understand knowledge of special education law both at the state and federal level for the category of ASD. Writing differing points of view regarding the instructional goals for students with autism spectrum disorders.
