CHL 354 Children’s Literature in Grades PK-3 Students will study a variety of texts (picture books, early readers, chapter books, nonfiction, and digital texts) appropriate for sharing with emergent, early, and transitional readers; will evaluate and analyze literature for young children; and will explore strategies for selecting and teaching a diverse set of classroom books for grades PK-3.
