CHEM 371 Organic Chemistry I The first semester of a two-semester sequence covering the general principles of organic chemistry for students specializing in science and those preparing for dentistry or medicine.
Credit 3 hrs May not be repeated for additional credit Grade Mode Normal (A-F) Course Rotation Fall (in-person/hybrid, occationally online), Winter (in-person/hybrid, occationally online), and Summer II (in-person/hybrid, occationally online)
Prerequisites - CHEM 123 and CHEM 124 Restriction by Major - Restriction by Class - Undergraduate standing
Additional Information - The Chemistry Dept. highly recommends that a student not earn credit in both this course and CHEM 270 . Please be aware that in some cases students are restricted to using this course or CHEM 270, not both, to satisfy major or minor requirements (see major/minor for details).
