HLED 380 Psychosocial Health in Public Health The mental, emotional, social and spiritual dimensions of health will be explored. Psychosocial factors such as optimism, hopefulness, social support, quality of life, stress and coping, depression, and anxiety will be studied, focusing on effective public health education interventions to promote health and prevent disease. Methods include lecture, discussion, and group activities.
