PHY 360 Heat and Thermodynamics An intermediate course in the study of heat and thermodynamics. The course will include an introduction of the fundamental concepts followed by specific topics, including thermal expansion, specific heat, change of state, elementary kinetic theory, thermodynamics laws, entropy and other thermodynamic functions. No prior knowledge of thermodynamics is presumed.
