SWRK 489L4 Field Experience II [GELB] Field experience is designed to culminate the undergraduate social work student’s experience. Through field placement and seminar, students will integrate academic theoretical knowledge into everyday social work practice. Students will use personal evaluation and professional supervision to analyze and enhance their motivation, knowledge, skills and aptitude for social work practice.
Credit 6 hrs May not be repeated for additional credit Grade Mode Normal (A-F) Course Rotation Winter and Summer (in-person)
Prerequisites - SWRK 488L4 with a “C” or higher Restriction by Major - Social Work [BSW] Restriction by Class - Undergraduate standing
Department Permission is required
Before enrolling students must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.3 in social work courses and not be on academic probation.
Additional Information - Concurrent registration in SWRK 405 , SWRK 408 , SWRK 409 , SWRK 430 , SWRK 450 , or SWRK 451 is permitted but not required.
