NURS 670 Advanced Pediatric and Adolescent Health This course and practicum focus on normal growth, developmental trajectories, and acute and chronic health problems in pediatric and adolescent clients. Differential diagnosis and clinical decision-making based on the client’s developmental needs using a culturally sensitive approach will be emphasized. Teaching and learning strategies will promote critical thinking and provide the opportunity for synthesizing knowledge in assessing, diagnosing, and managing pediatric and adolescent clients in precepted primary care settings.
