NURS 657 NP Seminar and Practicum II
This focused seminar course and clinical practicum provide students with the knowledge and skills to promote health, prevent illness, and manage common acute and chronic conditions in the primary care setting for adults across the lifespan. Students will be under the mentorship of the course faculty and approved preceptor over the semester. Seminar topics will focus on the care of the adolescent patient population. Students must complete 60 clinical practicum hours in urgent care, primary care, or outpatient specialty clinic over the semester.
Credit 1 hr May not be repeated for additional credit

Prerequisites - NURS 500 , NURS 502 , NURS 611 , NURS 664 , (NURS 506 or NURS 810 ), (NURS 640 or NURS 851 ), (NURS 608 , may be taken concurrently), and (NURS 666 , may be taken concurrently)
