HLAD 644 Healthcare Budgets and Finance The healthcare financial environment today is exceedingly complex and, as a result, has created a need for financial skills among many clinicians and managers that may not have existed in the past. Healthcare financial management draws heavily from financial accounting, managerial accounting, finance and economics. This course provides a broad introduction to the basic concepts of financial management and key functions, including budgeting, planning, accounting and reporting.
