New Program [Fall 2021]

The Graduate Certificate in Polymers and Coatings is a fully online five-course curriculum designed to prepare professionals who understand and apply the key theoretical concepts and practical aspects of polymers and coatings technology. This program is beneficial to manufacturing or user industries of paints, coatings, inks, composites, and related products.

Students can transfer all of their certificate courses completed with at least a C+ grade to the Polymers and Coatings Technology [M.S.] program.

This is a designated STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) program.

Online Education for Out-of-State Students (SARA)

Admission Requirements

Minimum Graduate School Requirements

A four-year baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or an equivalent degree from a non-U.S. institution. In addition, a minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average of 2.7 on a 4.0 scale, or 3.0 in the last half of the undergraduate program, is required for full admission. Applicants who do not meet minimum admission requirements may be considered for conditional admission. See International Admissions for international applicant requirements.
