The emphasis of the Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering Technology program is the application of scientific and engineering principles to improve existing engineered products. Click here to watch a short video about this program or visit the program’s website.
This is a STEM-designated program (see OPT Extension).
Accredited by the Engineering Technology Accreditation Commission of ABET, http://www.abet.org.
Program Educational Objectives - Program Educational Objectives (PEO) describe the attributes that we aspire for our graduates to possess three to five years after graduation. The BS degree program in Mechanical Engineering Technology will prepare graduates with the technical and managerial skills necessary to enter careers in analysis, applied design, development, implementation, or oversight of advanced mechanical systems and processes.
