Content includes the principles, components and techniques of lower orthoses used at, and proximal to, the knee. Instruction includes knee orthoses (KO), hip orthoses (HO), and knee-ankle-foot orthoses (KAFO). There is a significant laboratory component to this course, involving the assessment, fabrication, and fitting of several lower limb orthoses.
