SWRK 620 - Policy Issues and Older People This course is designed to introduce students to basic policy concepts and to familiarize them with major aging policies, including the Older Americans Act, Social Security and Medicare. Also, the student will explore various key policy issues such as housing, health care, retirement and pensions. Programs and services that evolve out of aging policy initiatives will be considered.
