CIVE 400 Hydraulics Sources and distribution of water with a focus on resources in urban areas that include surface reservoir requirements, utilization of groundwater, and distribution systems. The analysis of the flow and pressure distribution of flowing water and wastewater, the design of sizing pipes between tanks and taps, pumps and lift stations, and flow distribution in water or wastewater treatment networks. The course includes computer applications.
