NURS 621 Advanced Pharmacology Non-APRNs This course prepares students in a Master’s Nursing Education program to understand prescribed medications’ safety, legality, ethics, and therapeutics. In addition, this course covers the advanced concepts of pharmacotherapeutics and pharmacokinetics of medication used to treat all body systems.
Credit 3 hrs May not be repeated for additional credit Grade Mode Normal (A-F) Course Rotation Fall, Winter, and Summer (in-person and online)
Prerequisites - NURS 500 or NURS 511 Restriction by Major - Nursing Education [MSN] , Nursing – Clinical Research Nursing [MSN] Restriction by Degree Type - Graduate standing
Additional Information - Students enrolled in Clinical Nurse Specialists (MSN or DNP) or Nurse Practitioner (MSN or DNP) programs are not allowed to register for this course, as the course will not meet program requirements.
