AVFO 382 Theory and Practice of Flight Education


A course designed to prepare the student to meet Federal Aviation Administration requirements for the FAA Flight Instructor Certificate for an airplane category rating and single-engine land class rating. Theories of instruction, the learning process, instructor responsibilities and authority will be presented.

Credit 3 hrs May not be repeated for additional credit
Grade Mode Normal (A-F) Course Rotation Fall

Prerequisites - AVFO 361 with a “B” or higher   
Restriction by Major - Aviation Flight Technology [BS]  
Restriction by Class - Undergraduate standing

Department Permission is required

Students must complete FAA Instrument Rating prior to enrollment
