URP 215 Introduction to Urban and Regional Planning An introduction to community planning at local and regional levels, including an overview of issues and techniques for land use planning. Topics include purpose of community plans, housing and community development, environmental planning, transportation, historic preservation, economic development, and urban design. Included is discussion of planning as a career.
