AFC 373 Afro-Caribbean Religions

Beginning with a historical account of the origins of the multi-religious community of the Caribbean, emphasizing how it is built from elements of indigenous peoples (Caribs, Taino, Arawaks), Africans, Asians, and Europeans, this course is a survey of the contemporary Caribbean and Latin American religious belief systems.
