RDNG 315 Teaching Disciplinary Literacies in the Secondary Classroom The course introduces the developmental sequence for literacies (i.e., reading, writing, viewing, listening, speaking, and making) skills across content areas for middle and high school grade levels. In addition, the course aims to extend student understanding of the methods for teaching the sequence of literacies within content areas, including developing access and equity to multiliteracies pathways including race, class, language, culture, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, religion, and disability.
