MKTG 426 Sponsorship


This course looks at sponsorship as an element of the organization’s integrated marketing communications (IMC) plan. It covers traditional sponsorship and the three special forms of sponsorship: licensing, venue naming rights, and endorsements. It addresses all six primary areas for sponsorship as defined by the International Events Group (IEG): sports; cause-related marketing; festivals, fairs and annual events; the arts; entertainment, tours, and attractions; and associations and membership organizations.
