COSC 472 Big Data Management Data sets are growing at an exponential rate; examples come from social networks, businesses, and healthcare. This course introduces students to issues of storing and analyzing large data sets. Topics include data sharing and distributed database algorithms. Students will also learn the programming of non-relational database systems (NoSQL models).
